Just hanging around

We haven't really been up to much since our trip to Texas. It took us a while to recover and get caught up at work. Thought I would post some pictures of Alma just hanging around the house (and getting into everything).

She has discovered Nutella. We kept chocolate away as long as we could but she just can't resist this stuff. It makes her so happy but its so messy!

 

We had just finished a bath the other day and I was looking for her to get ready for bed and this is where I found her. Just chilling out with her puppy.

She is also loving dressing up in Mommy's (or Daddy's) things.

So curious and into everything, but so much fun.

San Antonio and a Quick Visit with Aunty Ashley

We all made a trip to the mainland this past week for a conference in San Antonio. Trips to the mainland quickly remind me of how different Hawaii is from anywhere else. I think living here is slowly changing us, especially when it comes to cooler weather. We froze in San Antonio! The conference was work but we did get to see a bunch of old colleagues and friends. The best part was that Aunty Ashley came from Atlanta to help with Alma while Matt and I were working. She was such an amazing help and so good with Alma. They hit it off immediately.

Alma picked up a few make-up artist tips from Aunty Ashley. Watch out Ashley, I think you might have some competition.

Alma really enjoyed seeing new places especially those involving mechanical horse rides. We couldn't get her off this thing.

We even got to see a few real horses. We stayed right on the Riverwalk so there was plenty of touristy things to do.

Shawn and Ann made a trip up from Houston to visit as well. It was great to see them.

Alma of course loved the hotel room. She really gets a kick out of having a TV right next to her bed. As you can see, she was very busy relaxing.
