Pumpkin Patch at Waimanalo Country Farms

Aunty Amanda, Alma, and I visited Waimanalo Country Farms for some Fall fun and pumpkin pickin!

Notice you can see the ocean in the background. The farm was beautiful.

Alma helped pick out the perfect pumpkin.

There was lots to do. We visited the petting farm and got to see lots of animals up close. Alma was a bit overwhelmed but she warmed up slowly (at least to the smaller animals).

They hayride was a nice break from the sun and we got a tour of the farm.

Alma got to eat her first shave ice. So messy but she loved it.

We had a wonderful day and can't wait to go back next year (hopefully Daddy can join us next year -  missed you Daddy).

Somebody had a little too much fun : )

Aunty Amanda Moves in and Uncle Hunter Visits

The Schmidt household has undergone some dramatic changes in the last few weeks. Amanda will be going to UH for graduate school so she will be living with us for a while. She arrived safely with Maga and Izzy (her two furry children). Hunter also accompanied her for a visit. We have loved having him here and apparently Hawaii made quite an impression on him as he will be returning this summer to go to Windward Community College! Who knew we would end up with family right here on this remote island : ) Alma will be surrounded by lots of lovin!

But like I said we loved having everybody together and we had lots of fun Hawaii style. We had to show Hunter all of our favorite beaches.

Decorated some cookies for Halloween (and a bunch of other stuff).

Alma is enjoying all the change too. She loves having the two new dogs. They aren't too sure what to think of her yet but they have figured out she is a a reliable food source. She absolutely loves Maga's crate.

Still working on feeding ourselves...doing great just a little messy.

She loves playing with dolls and adores the new doll crib we got her.

She has also mastered the art of climbing - anything and everything.

She is just so much fun.
