A Reccuring Theme

We have a recurring theme in our house these days.

It started here when she discovered that she could climb in and out of her toy box.

Then she moved on to drawers that she can reach easily. She loves her Daddy's belts.

Even drawers with child locks are not a problem for her since she has "cracked" all the child locks at 14 months!

But its hard to get mad when she is obviously having this much fun.

Mother's Day 2012

Mother's Day was perfect this year. We spent the day at the park relaxing and having fun.

 

And afterwards, I got to play with my favorite little lady.

Summer time is here

The water is finally warming up! To our surprise, the water in the Pacific is quite cold in the winter time and is way too cold for Alma to swim in. But the days are quickly heating up here. So much so that we all packed up and spent the day at Sharks Cove, one of Oahu's best snorkeling spots. What's great is that there are tide pools here perfect for swimming with little ones. Here's a video of Alma playing on the beach.

Easter 2012

Our church, St. Mark's Lutheran, held a sunrise service from a hilltop over looking the Koolau Mountains. The view was spectacular and was an amazing way to celebrate Easter morning. After the sunrise service we all went back to the church for a brunch and of course an Easter egg hunt. Alma got the hang of it really quickly.
