From the back of a convertable.....

The family hit the road this weekend to tour a bit of Oahu in our new "old" car. Our car is nothing to write home about but we are all quite smitten with old beater. We headed up to the north shore where we saw the biggest waves I have ever seen in my entire life. It was like walls of water crashing on the shore - simply amazing. Here's some of what we saw today:

Matt's new baby
Notice the man standing on the rock in right side of the picture.
I love that bananas just grow here - no big deal.

The lovely hibiscus, Hawaii's state flower.
These fascinate me...although a modern flair to the landscape, they are somehow pretty.

  1. Wait...so a second car or you got rid of the fit? Hey, you don't have to worry about gas mileage, right? Guess it's always a day for the top down!! ENjoy!!

  2. I love the old car! I'm sure Matt will have lots of fun with it. ;) It's always nice to see you all and a little bit of beautiful ocean. A river is nice but it's nothing like the sea... All my love to you guys.
